Zenyatta - Horse of the Year!

Did anyone see the Breeders Cup race last Saturday. Zenyatta beat the boys. First time ever a mare won this race. It was so exciting, my humans were screaming for Zenyatta down the back stretch, so I joined in and started to howl. She came from last place to finish a length ahead. Wow, what a girl.

One of my humans work for the guy that owns the famous horse Zenyatta. Saturday she is racing against the boys at Santa Anita. This race is huge...a million dollar purse. She is undefeated so far. I am going to call my bookie right now.

In The Dog House

We have workmen at our house so I am not getting the attention I crave. No new adventures.

The Bates Motel

I should have known my human was up to something. On Saturday morning we went to the off leash dog park on Sepulveda. My pillow was in the back seat...that really should have tipped me off. Then we pulled into the "Pet Hotel." Dread was slowly overtaking me. Before I could protest, I was handed to the attendent who looked a little menancing. Now, I had to try to get away, but I could not. Oh well, my fate was cast for the next few days. I was in "lock down" but at least it was air conditioned. My humans were headed to Santa Ynez for the weekend. I am not invited because I chase the chickens in my brothers chicken coop. I will survive.

Balboa Dog Park

I have been waiting at the door all morning, I even glance at my leash...finally, my human got the hint. We are going to the dog park.

Leo, The Beagle Puppy

My doggie date last night with Leo, the beagle puppy went really well. After the usual get acquaintance period we started running around the yard. After, the humans took us for a walk down the street for dinner at the not so famous Lamplighter. We were tied to the fence while the humans ate their dinner. Leo and I bonded...we are now a "pack." Nice to make a new friend.

Doggie Play Date

Today I am having a play date with a beagle puppy...I will let you know how it all goes. My humans are always working on making me less assertive with other dogs. I am a hunter, I can't help it...I like to play rough! I like puppies because they have a lot of energy, like me. There goes the backyard!

Coffee Clutch in Studio City

Today I went with my humans to get coffee at a neighborhood shop. As usual, everyone stopped by to pet me and marvel at my unusual markings. It can be a burden. Because everyone tells me I am so handsome and well-trained, I was thinking I should do print work. This nice couple told us about "Animal Planets" Casting couch. I wonder if my human would take me for an audition.
